Patient reported a history of repeated head trauma from high school rugby (concussed out after three major incidents), a severe car accident, and another accident one month before arriving at Ambio. Presented with ongoing difficulties in focus, memory, and emotional reactivity. Long-term patterns of substance use included opioids, cannabis, tobacco, alcohol, and excessive sugar intake. Low motivation and cognitive function was described as impaired.

He described feeling significantly clearer after treatment, with a marked reduction in cravings and automatic behaviors.

In addition to eliminating all substance use, including daily sugar consumption, he experienced a shift in self-awareness and intention.
